Seven-month old baby rescued after accidentally getting locked in room
A seven-month old baby had to be rescued on Saturday after accidently getting locked in a room at a Barnstaple property.
Firefighters from the town were called to a house in Laburnum Drive at around 5.15pm.

They gained entry to the property using small tools and a ladder and re-united the unharmed baby with its mother.
