DO you love to dance? Here's a chance to join in a Shimmy and Shout Charity Day and have fun trying out some different styles.

Dance fit and Salsa DX (dance exercise classes) are joining forces with Planet X karaoke and disco to host a charity day in Bideford.

The fun starts at 10.30am on Saturday, March 27 at the Pollyfield Centre in Bideford with a meet and greet session.

Dance exercise classes start at 11am and include Salsa DX, Belly Dance, Cha — Cha DX, Bachata DX and Funky Freestyle.

Also hosting the day will be therapists from The Bideford Wellbeing Centre providing a range of sample treatments including: massage, Reiki, metamorphic technique, life coaching and reflexology. A Big Breakfast will be available in the morning in aid of the North Devon Hospice. Light lunches will be served between 1.15pm and 2.45pm, prepared by The Pollyfield cooks.

An evening of song and dance with Planet X starts at 8.30pm. The Pollyfield bar will be open and Planet X will be providing entertainment with karaoke and a disco until the early hours of the morning.

Money raised will be divided between Have a Heart campaign which is working with the Starlight Children's Foundation to provide starlight fun centres and grant magical starlight wishes and The Pollyfield Centre in Bideford which provides a variety of activities for people in the community.

Organiser Anne Wilson said: "We are really looking forward to the day. It should provide a great opportunity for people to try exercise while learning new dance steps, try out different therapies and end the day with an evening of singing karaoke. What a fantastic opportunity to raise money for these charities."

Day tickets to include all classes are £20. To reserve tickets phone Anne on: 07791568340.

Treatments can be booked throughout the day in the reception area on a first come basis — £5 per 20 minute treatment payable on the day. A £1 donation per song is suggested for the karaoke.
