Snow and ice continue to cause problems on North Devon roads
The recent snowfall and near zero temperatures mean that road conditions in North Devon are still very dangerous throughout the area.
Many places melting snow froze overnight, leaving roads covered by a sheen of ice.

According to the Met Office, who has issued a yellow weather warning for South West England, the slippery conditions look set to continue through till Monday.
"The public should be aware of the risk of localised difficult travel conditions due either to existing snow cover, or to icy surfaces," the Met Office said.

One of the roads affected by the weather is the A39, which was closed by snows yesterday at the Tors Park junction, at Lynmouth, and the junction with New Road in Oare. The A39 was closed by snows again this morning, but the latest reports are that the road is at least partially reopened.
Trains seem to be running as planned, with First Great Western reporting 'good service operating' on their website on all services across Devon and Cornwall.
