SMOKERS in North Devon are being reminded that help to quit is available in a town near them.

Last year 4,000 people in Devon successfully stopped smoking after getting help from NHS Devon.

There are seven weekly stop smoking clinics in North Devon. The clinics aim to help people stop smoking with support and advice from specialists and through a range of techniques including nicotine replacement therapy.

NHS Devon's free stop smoking service is available at most Devon towns.

The North Devon clinics are:

Barnstaple library (Mondays 12.30pm – 4.30pm); Bideford hospital (Monday 5.30pm – 8:30pm); Amory Centre, South Molton (Tuesday 9am – 11am);
