Substantial amount of cash stolen from Ilfracombe pub The Sandpiper Inn
A “fairly substantial” amount of cash and a bottle of vodka was stolen from a pub in Ilfracombe on Christmas Eve.
Police are appealing for witnesses after The Sandpiper Inn, situated on The Quay, was broken into between 8.30am and 9am.

Officers said the suspect(s) smashed a window to get into the premises before taking the sum of cash from the office area as well as a three litre bottle of vodka from behind the bar.
