How long have you been surfing? About six years.
Who or what got you involved with surfing? My mum and dad.
Who rips in North Devon? Lucy Campbell, Maisie Lawton, Laura Crane, Karma Worthington.
Who's the best up-and-coming surfer in the area? Probably Lucy Campbell.
What's your most memorable session and why? Spekes this summer, it was the best surf of the summer.
What is the best thing about surfing for you? Surfing till sunset after school.
What would you say to people wanting to get involved with the sport? Good luck and have fun — it's really cool!
Where else have you surfed in the world? Wales, Ireland, Central America, Mexico, Spain.
How does North Devon compare to other global surf spots? It's amazing, but I have to admit some of the rights in Ireland were really good!
What's the worst thing about surfing? Getting into a wet, cold and sandy wetsuit from yesterday.
What about surf schools, anything to say? It's fun to learn to surf with all your friends.
Have you had any nasty injuries surfing? Just my feet are pretty scarred from reef cuts.
Best wave you've surfed? In Ireland.
Most overrated wave? Fistral.
Most underrated wave? Putsborough.

What do you think about competitive surfing? It's really fun. I've made loads of friends through contests but sometimes it gets too competitive and people forget that surfing is something they love doing.
Competition results? In under-14s I won the Ripcurl Wales this year. I got second in Ripcurl English. Otherwise I've had quite a few final and semi-final places and I'm lying fifth in the girls' under-16s on the BPSA tour.
