WOOLACOMBE Primary School have definitely got talent — after a recent competition to raise money for the Haiti ShelterBox appeal.

They held a talent competition in which they sang, danced, told jokes and even karate chopped their way through the contest.

A panel of staff took the roles of X-Factor judges to assess each performance.

Teacher Claire Tocker introduced the acts and organised the event with her Class 4 group. There were three categories and an overall winner.

The winner for the groups was singing and dancing sensations The Fridays — Jasmine Tucker, Eliza King-Smith, Molly Walker and Tilly Bryant. The winner for the duets was dazzling dancers Amena Nordin and Molly Ashford .

The winner in the solo category and the overall winner of the whole show was Dion Sheppard for her beautiful solo performance of Tears in Heaven.
