Tarka tennis player Louis Davey on LTA FutureStars programme
FUTURE STAR: Louis Davey is to receive extra support and funding from the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA). Louis, 8, from Bude, trains at the Tarka Tennis Centre in Barnstaple. He is one of 486 players to be included on the LTA's AEGON FutureStars programme for 2013. Leon Smith, LTA head of men's and women's tennis, said: "It's a long journey for any player hoping to make an impact on the game but we hope that with the right support these players are given the best possible chance of reaching their full potential."
