TAW VALLEY were back on top form with an 11-0 win at Winscombe II.

After the previous week's narrow victory against Weston- super-Mare, Taw came out firing from the first whistle.

Jo Yeaxlee-Batch scored four as the North Devon side posted a 12th successive win.

They went into a two-week break nine points clear of second-placed Cheddar, who lost 3-1 at Minehead.

After some near misses, player of the match Keely Jones slotted the ball into the corner to start the scoring for Taw Valley.

Soon after, Yeaxlee-Batch scored the first of her goals.

The second half brought two goals for Charlotte Beauchamp, which included one in off the post from a penalty corner and a deflection after Rhona Screech drove along the baseline; three more for Yeaxlee-Batch and a second for Jones, with a reverse-stick shot.

Helen Thomas scored two, one deflected from a penalty corner and the other after an excellent piece of individual skill, running from the halfway line.

Sally Langford finished off the scoring with her first goal for Taw.
