Thousands stock up at Christmas Farmers Market at North Devon's Big Sheep
Festive frolics abounded at the Christmas Farmers Market held at the Big Sheep visitor attraction at the weekend.
Thousands of shoppers flocked to the site at Bideford, Devon, on Saturday to stock up on a plethora of good, local produce in time for Christmas.
The fun-packed event was the third to be held over the past three weeks with a further one due to be held this coming Saturday.
With free entry to the event, visitors swarmed around 60 stalls crammed with food, drink and goodies fit to place under any Christmas tree.

With all the stalls under one roof, shoppers were spared the often harsh winter weather at this time of year and were able to shop at their leisure as the rain and hailstorms lashed other parts of the region.
Anne Tattershall, marketing manager at the site said it was the 13th year the event had been held and it was as popular as ever.
She said: "We had around 2,000 visitors so there was a real buzz about the place.
"The atmosphere was fantastic with all the stall-holders chatting to each other and having a good old catch-up.
"We had groups of carol singers from some of the local schools singing away so it felt really Christmassy."
To cope with the influx of cars to the attraction, local cadets were drafted in to manage car parking arrangements.
Anne said: "People travelled from miles around – we even had a lovely couple who drove down from Wales.
"It was the third year in a row they've been down to see us which just shows how people are prepared to travel is they know it will be worth it when they get to the other end.
"Over the past few weeks we've had customers ordering their turkey and other meats for Christmas Day.
"Usually they wait until the last market day to come along and pick them up so like every year since we started the last Saturday in the series will be pretty hectic once again."
