Time lapse video shows new building being built at Petroc in Barnstaple
This time lapse video shows Petroc's new dedicated supported learning building being craned off a lorry and put together at the college's Sticklepath Campus in Barnstaple.
Work on the building got under way earlier this month, when a huge 250-ton crane rolled into the college, followed by the first of 19 lorries carrying modular sections of the building.âThe Liberty Centre, as it will be known, should be completed by the end of March.

The entire building has been constructed off site by modular building experts Servaccomm and arrived on site complete with painted walls, light fittings and electricity sockets.
"A project like this, with such a tight deadline, requires meticulous planning," said Petroc's estates manager Jason Quinn.

The delivery was managed by the Highways Agency and the lorries had a police escort on their way into the college.
The load was so wide signs on the roundabout at the top of Sticklepath Hill had to be taken down to make room for the lorries to pass.
The new building will be used by students with learning difficulties and disabilities.
It will be home to a commercial kitchen, workshop, multi-media centre, independent living space, café and shop.
Students will use the new facilities to produce a wide variety of goods, including cakes, jams, pickles, ceramics, woodwork, art and jewellery, to sell in the shop, teaching them invaluable employability and entrepreneurial skills.
