NEW Bude Town manager Ian Adams relished his first game in charge in the Hodgson Insurance Kingsley League.

A hat-trick from 16-year-old Jack Tippetts gave the Cornishmen a 3-2 win over Bridgerule, the club where Adams has played for the last decade.

Brendan Hearn and Arron Braund kept it close for Bridge.

Ashwater took their tally to 12 goals in two games, beating Morwenstow 6-3 thanks to Graham Hill, Luke Potter, Karl Cudmore and a hat-trick from Johnny Knight. Sam Hockin and Noah Evans were among the goals for the Greens.

A superb curling finish from Dominic Norton set Kilkhampton on their way to a six-goal blast against Hartland.

Norton went on to complete a hat-trick, with Tom Denford, Jack Wellington and Sam Owen completing the tally.

Ten-man Merton hit back for a point against Appledore after Sam Symonds and Kieran Harris put the Fishermen 2-0 up.
