Tom Bulley to take charge of first Barnstaple Town home games
TOM BULLEY is preparing for his first two home games in charge of Barnstaple Town.
On Saturday, they host Toolstation Western League leaders Brislington and, on Tuesday, they face North Devon rivals Ilfracombe Town.
The new manager is calling on supporters to get behind the team as they attempt to escape relegation.
"Hopefully we'll have a big turnout for both the games," said Bulley. "The club needs it.It's vital to get the supporters back. One win would hopefully kick-start our season."

Bulley was in charge for the first time in the 3-0 defeat at Melksham Town on Saturday.
Goals from Tom Robinson, Adam Young and Will Stead condemned Barnstaple to their 15th game without a win but there were some encouraging performances and two new signings.
Jed Harper-Penman made his debut on the right of midfield, having been released by Plymouth Argyle last week. Matt Rickard, another former Argyle youngster who had a spell with Bideford this season, started alongside Luke Evans up front.
"It was a massive improvement from the first time I saw the team play, when they lost 8-0 against Bishop Sutton," said Bulley. "I took a lot of positives out of the game."
Plenty of people have told Bulley that keeping Barnstaple in the premier division is a lost cause, but he is determined to "achieve the impossible" with a young and hungry squad.
"It's coming together," he said. "It's not going to happen overnight. I'm still trying to build a team that can compete in this league. I'm on the phone constantly. I want the best players in the local area to come and play for me."
Bulley assessed some new players in the 4-0 defeat at Bideford on Tuesday, including Kriss Boreham, of Fremington, and Harry Taffs, of Torrington."I was delighted with the performance," said Bulley.
