BARNSTAPLE TOWN should have their new manager in place by the time they host Bishop Sutton in the Toolstation Western League on Saturday.
Warren Crossley, the chairman, had been due to choose the new man from a shortlist of four early this week but no announcement had been made by the time the Journal went to press.
Barnstaple had a wasted trip to Dorset at the weekend when their premier division game against Gillingham Town was postponed shortly before kick-off because a small area of the pitch was waterlogged.
