As part of their fundraising year Trewin Design held a Karting

Event at Raceworld, Exeter.

The event  included a half hour practice

session followed by a two hour endurance race, The Stigs went home as the TDP

Karting Champions 2012, with Chris Heard, Andy Old, Di Old, Thomas Martin, Paul

Martin and Dan Rooke driving them to first place.

Trewin Design Partnership were thrilled to have their

architectural technician Gareth Short set the fastest lap of the night.

Gates Partnership won second place and Forticrete came third.  Other competitors included teams from Taylor

Lewis, John Grimes Partnership,  Westward

Housing, Ravenslade, Ashfords and Simon Bastone

Associates.

As well as team sponsorship raised for the race, Raceworld

kindly donated a portion of each competitors fee to the Devon Air Ambulance

Trust bringing the challenge total to £700. Trewin Design are over 90% of the

way to their £4040 target  raised for

Devon Air Ambulance Trust,  and they hope

to reach this before the end of the year.
