Tycoon's marathon run in aid of Amber
A MULTI-MILLIONAIRE property tycoon has vowed to further support a North Devon charity to which he gave £20,000 on prime-time television last year.
Kevin Green will run the Virgin London Marathon in April in aid of the Amber Foundation, in Chawleigh, which helps homeless young people gain the skills and confidence to lead independent lives.
Kevin, who owns 267 properties in Wales with an estimated value of £29million, made the pledge after working undercover at the charity for Channel 4 series The Secret Millionaire.
During the eight days of filming last summer, Kevin also spent time with the Barnstaple Poverty Action Group (BPAG) and the Children's Hospice South West in Fremington.
Sue Crawford-Condie, fundraising director for the foundation, said: "He was really impressed with Amber when he did the programme and wanted to keep in touch.
"He wants to help us build our profile and maybe bring in some more donations."
Mr Green will revisit the charity's centre at Ashley Court in Chawleigh on Monday, March 15.
