Braunton woman runs for Sunarma

A MARATHON runner from Braunton is supporting a local charity which helps farmers in a third world country.

Jenny Milsom is running for North Devon-based charity Sunarma (Sustainable Natural Resource Management Association).

The project aims to support local farmers in Ethopia develop sustainable farming solutions.

Jenny, who lived at Little Comfort Farm in Braunton for 10 years, recently graduated from Loughborough University. She is now living in London.

This is her second London Marathon after completing the event in 4 hours 31 minutes in 2008.

Jenny said: "Having worked for Sunarma myself I feel very passionately about this cause. Every penny donated does go to good use.

"I'm hoping to raise money for the current irrigation project in the Wuchale and Jidda Woreda."

Jenny has also entered into the upcoming Reading Half Marathon.
