A DRIVER was taken to hospital after his Mercedes panel van collided with a wall near Holsworthy on bank holiday Monday.

The accident happened at about 6.20pm on August 30.

After the crash, on the A3072 at Windmill Road, the driver was airlifted to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital at Wonford, Exeter.

He was alone in the vehicle and his injuries are not life threatening, said police.

However, due to the nature of the accident police, would like any witnesses to come forward.
