Vehicle on fire in car park
CAR BLAZE: A vehicle was written off in a fire in Bank End Car Park in Bideford on Saturday afternoon. The crew and fire engine from Bideford arrived at the scene soon after 3pm and tackled the flaming 4 x 4 for half an hour. Crew manager Alan Pearce said the vehicle had been written off. He added: "The owner of the vehicle and his wife said the fire had been started by an electrical fault under the dashboard."
