Venners beat Carol Anne Sapphires in Devon County Netball League
NETBALL
CHANTAL MOORE'S ability at both ends of the court helped Venners to victory over Carol Anne Sapphires in the Devon County League.
Team changes gave Moore, the player of the match, the chance to show her attacking skills and speed, having already defended fantastically, in the 54-37 victory.
Despite the hard work of Venners defenders Beth Nancekivell, Carrie Short, Laura Guy and Issy Wilson-North, Laura Manley and Laura Short kept Carol Anne in contention until half time.
