YOUNG people will take part in the South West's first youth volunteering and conservation festival, which will be held at a “secret” location in Devon.

The free event, Revolution 08, will take place near Exeter between September 19 and 21.

The festival is organised by people aged between 16 and 25 in collaboration with the National Trust and V, the nationwide independent youth volunteering charity.

Some 500 people are expected to attend and among the attractions are bands and local food.

The festival will be at the Killerton estate, near Exeter. The exact location will be kept a secret until nearer the time.
