A FREAK goal from Jack Wellington helped Kilkhampton beat local rivals Morwenstow in the Hodgson Insurance Kingsley League.

Wellington's low shot looped high into the net off a divot before Tom Denford's header sealed a 2-0 win.

Mark Barlow capped a tireless display for Bridgerule when his stunning long-range volley secured a 3-2 success over Tarka Athletic.

Todd Peschke and Paul Giles (penalty) twice gave Bridge the lead.
