West Buckland School pupils selected for Devon Hockey Junior Academy Centre squads

HOCKEY

PUPILS from West Buckland School feature strongly in the Devon Hockey Junior Academy Centre squads selected for 2013.

ACADEMY BOYS: West Buckland's James Ladds, Joe Hastie, Jake Davies, Lewis Williams and Hugo Mitchell, who have been selected by Devon Hockey.
SELECTED: Issy Brown, Kate Openshaw, Maddie Boyles and Emma Cobby.

Ten boys from Years 8 to 12 have been picked, along with five girls from Years 9 to 11, after successful trials.

The players will attend regular coaching sessions at the University of Exeter and could feature in fixtures against other counties in March and April.
