West Country rail services returning to normal
RAIL services in and out of the West Country were beginning to return to normal today.
However, there is still no estimate as to when the line from Exeter to Barnstaple will be open again.

The rail network has been thrown into chaos since heavy rain before Christmas caused landslips and track damage.
A spokesman for Network Rail said the Cowley Bridge Junction at Exeter, which carries the main lines in and out of the city, was likely to reopen at noon today.
