THE FINEST performance Torridgeside Under-16s' coach had seen in 10 years earned an outstanding win at Tiverton Town.

Jamie Wheeler and Charlie Tubb scored in a 2-0 victory in the North Devon Contractors Youth League.

Tiverton had won the meeting in North Devon 3-0 and had previously conceded just one goal at home in the league this term.

Torridgeside coach, Gerald Sussex said: "In the 10 years I have been involved with youth football, that was undoubtedly the finest performance I have seen from one of my sides. All the boys played their part, they were magnificent."

Reliable centre-back Jack Crimmins was pushed up front for the last 10 minutes of Hatherleigh Under-10s' match at SAS Hunters and promptly scored two goals in a 7-0 win.

The visitors were 5-0 up through Oli Squire (two), Morgan Reynolds (two) and Luke Reynolds.

Dom Abbot scored twice in Holsworthy's 5-0 win over Braunton. The other scorers were Charlie Quinlan, Elliot Gerrard and Ben Costa.

South Molton trailed 2-0 at home to SAS before storming back to win 3-2 with goals from Josh Stoneman, Joey Kennedy-Brown and Rhys Hendy.

Callum Goss was a hat-trick hero as North Molton Under-14s won 3-0 at Ilfracombe Town. The star of the show was holding midfielder Jordan Roberts.

Chris Jordan hit five in North Molton Stags' 12-1 win at home to SAS. Prince Sexton, Cori Kerslake, Ryan Smith and Rob Jackson shared the other goals.

Daniel Brice and Jack Hurd were among the goals for Braunton Wanderers Under-13s in their 3-1 win at Torridgeside.

Matt Phain put Bradworthy ahead against Holsworthy but they needed an equaliser from Rhy Stanbury to ensure a 2-2 draw.

Liam Beer hit a hat-trick and Tom Burbidge and Matt Harris bagged two each in Barnstaple Youth Under-12s' 9-3 win over Woolsery. Elliot Cornish also scored for Barum but the pick of the goals was a 30-yard shot from Sam Osborne.

Alex Cammack scored four as Braunton Wanderers beat SAS Warriors 10-1. Bug Hall (two), Daniel Tucker, Jordan Evans, Matthew Hartnoll and Oli Beck also scored.

Connor Davies' sweetly-struck free-kick a minute from time gave Ilfracombe Town a 2-1 win over Holsworthy. Jay Reed had fired Combe 1-0 up.

Rhys Curtis struck twice, his second a late winner, and there were also goals from Jack Gatting and Connor Henderson as Appledore won 4-3 at home to Morwenstow.

There was another close game at Bude Town where a Luke McManus double had the home side ahead before SAS United stormed back through Liam Blackburn and Ryan Smith to share a 2-2 draw.

Barnstaple Youth Under-11s were 6-0 winners at North Molton where Nat Gunn scored four. The others came from Lewis Rees and Joel Randall.

Kobi Bryant blasted a hat-trick as Bideford Blues won 5-0 at Crediton.

Total Football won 3-0 at Torridgeside thanks to Josh Robinson (two) and Callum Acland.

SAS Under-10s beat South Molton 5-0 with goals from Jacob Glover (two), Jack Elston (two) and Jack Marelli.

Man of the match Billy Wood claimed his second hat-trick of the season as SAS Under-Nines beat Eastside 6-0. The other goals came from Harry Evans (two) and Finley Shapland.

SAS keeper Toby Rogers kept his third clean sheet in a row.
