Wimbledon at Northcote Manor
NORTHCOTE Manor hosts a unique event in July allowing you to relish the drama of the Wimbledon Men's Final as well as admire an amazing collection of classic and sports cars.
Wimbledon at Northcote Manor promises to be a family-friendly event with lots of entertainment and attractions to make a fantastic day out. As well as this, it is also the finishing point for the North Devon Sports and Classic Car Run. The event is a fundraiser for North Devon Hospice.
Hospice fundraiser Gerard Fawcitt, said: "The setting of Northcote Manor is simply gorgeous. There could be no better place to watch the Wimbledon final than here. We have a big screen for everyone to enjoy the action — and hopefully cheer on Andy Murray to a first Wimbledon title.
"As well as this there will be lots of attractions such as a bouncy castle, face-painting, ferret racing and mini-tennis for the kids.
"To keep you entertained in the build-up to the big match, there will be jazz on the lawn throughout the afternoon as well as the chance to admire more than 100 amazing machines which will have just completed the North Devon Sports and Classic Car Run."
Refreshments will include strawberries and cream, cream teas, a hog roast and Hocking's Ice Cream.
Wimbledon at Northcote Manor is on Sunday, July 4 from noon until 5pm. Entry is just £2.50 for adults and £1 for children under 12. Northcote Manor is on the A377 near Umberleigh.
