Woman, 31, found dead on Westward Ho! beach 'may have been sleeping rough'
A WOMAN whose body was found on a North Devon beach may have been sleeping rough in a car for several weeks.
The 31-year-old was found on Westward Ho! beach on Saturday.

Police said her clothed body was discovered on the beach, near Golf Links Road, by a dog walker at around 9.20am on Saturday.
Police were called to the scene and the body was initially taken to Westward Ho! coastguard station by a coastguard crew.

Officers then tracked down her car in Bath Hotel Road, in the centre of Westward Ho!
Formal identification had not taken place when the Journal went to press, although the woman's next of kin have been informed. She was not originally from North Devon.
Devon and Cornwall Police said the death was not currently being treated as suspicious but instead as unexplained.
Officers at the scene said no suspicious injuries were observed on her body.
Westward Ho! businessman Rob Braddick said he had heard about the incident.
He said: "It is being talked about but no one seems to know much. I had noticed a young woman sleeping in her car around the village for the last couple of months and hadn't noticed her again since the weekend so I didn't know if it was her."
Police are continuing to make inquiries on behalf of the coroner.
