Woman, 48, allegedly sexually assaulted in Bude

A 48-year-old woman was allegedly sexually assaulted by a man in Bude on Sunday evening.

Police are appealing for witnesses and information about the incident which took place at around 11.40pm in Donkey Lane.

Devon and Cornwall Police said the woman told officers she was sexually assaulted by a man and sustained minor injuries.

Investigating officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen suspicious activity around the Killerton Road, Valley Road or Donkey Lane area's at the time of the incident.
