Woman arrested following alleged mugging in Ilfracombe high street
Police have arrested a 43-year-old woman on suspicion of robbery in connection with an incident in Ilfracombe high street this morning.
Officers were called to the scene outside the Lantern Cafe at around 8.30am after a woman in her sixties was allegedly mugged.

Police were not able to confirm what belongings had been taken but confirmed that all items had been recovered.
The woman in her sixties was not injured.

Later this morning, police arrested the 43-year-old woman, who remains in custody at Barnstaple Police Station.
