Woman hit by police van in Bideford still critically ill
A woman is still critically ill in hospital after being hit by a marked police van which was on routine patrol in North Devon.
The 28-year-old woman suffered life threatening head injuries in the incident which happened on New Road in Bideford, at about 7.15pm on Wednesday.

Derriford Hospital
She is being treated at Derriford Hospital in Plymouth. The force said there had been no change in her condition.
The police officer has been suspended from driving while inquires take place.
