Woman trapped after car veers off A377 and overturns into field
A woman was left trapped in her car after it veered off the A377 and overturned into a field near Copplestone last night.
The woman was left trapped by her seatbelt after the Toyota Yaris, which is registered to an address in Winkleigh, overturned onto its roof.

Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to the scene shortly after 10pm and officers closed the road between Knowle and Copplestone.
Two fire crews from Crediton attended and firefighters used small tools and cutting equipment to free the woman.
Any current pupil introducing a new pupil to the school receives 1 free hour should that pupil take up lessons with Accord. No Limit on amount of pupils or free hours.
Terms: Introduced pupil must take up lessons with Accord and not just an introduction.

She was treated at the scene by paramedics but police confirmed she did not suffer life-threatening or life-changing injuries.
The road was reopened in the early hours once the incident was dealt with.
The vehicle is due to be recovered from the field this morning.
The crash was one of two to occur on the A377 yesterday.
Earlier in the morning, a woman had to be taken to hospital following a two-vehicle crash at Lapford.

“The A377 is a very busy road that is too small to handle the amount of traffic using it. I travel it daily and people drive this road far too fast hence there being so many accidents. It needs to be a 40 MPH limit from Barnstaple to Exeter to stop the idiots taking risks.”
