RICHARD WOOLLACOTT has made a successful start to National Hunt training with four winners in just six weeks.

The former national point-to-point champion has hung up his riding boots to concentrate on training at his Nethercott Manor yard in Rose Ash, near South Molton.
Woollacott, 34, said: "It is a team effort at Nethercott and we are all pleased with the start we've had.

"It's difficult to compete with the big, established trainers in the area but we try and do things a bit different with our horses. As a result, we have enjoyed early success. Fingers crossed it will continue throughout the season."
William Hill have quoted odds of 50-1 for Woollacott to be champion trainer by the end of the 2019-20 season.
