Call for artists
ARE you a passionate painter, a talented textile artist or a wonderful wood worker? Then Devon Open Studios would like to hear from you.

Devon Open Studios is the largest event of its kind in the county. Last year 230 artists threw open their doors to the public welcoming more than 30,000 visitors for a veritable feast of art.
Linda Hajdukiewicz, the event coordinator, said: "The range and quality of work on show is fantastic. We have everything from traditional painting, sculpture and photography to installation artists working with new digital technology."
"Devon Open Studios is also a fantastic opportunity to get out and explore our beautiful county — there are wonderful things hidden away down country lanes, which complement the amazing artwork on show by Devon's talented artists and makers."
Artists wishing to take part can download the registration forms and guidance notes from the DAN website at www.devonartist network.co.uk/DOSRegistration or contact Linda for further information. E-mail: linda@m2z.co.uk. Phone: 07768 164 560. The deadline for applications is Sunday, February 28.
Fees start from £150 for solo artists. A free, full colour catalogue detailing all participating artists is published in July and distributed across Devon and Somerset.
