Andrea Lawrence, who is also a top local surfer as well as a savvy sign-monger, was thrilled to be commissioned with the work.
She said: "The sign is for a community garden in London that was transformed in June 2008 by the BBC Springwatch action team, along with help from local residents and school children.
"The sign I have designed and produced is the final part of the project. It shows the sponsors' logos, and illustrations done by the local children."
Andrea started Nature Signs in December 2003, and has done interpretation signs for several nature reserves, public parks, parish councils, holiday parks, farms and schools all across the country.
Andrea said she has work everywhere from the Highlands of Scotland to The Lizard in Cornwall.
She added: "My client list now includes several wildlife trusts, the National Trust, BT, CoaST, Forestry Commission, RSPB, RSPCA, Whitbread, Vitacress and BBC Autumnwatch.
"The ethos of Nature Signs is about being environmentally aware, so all signs are recyclable, wooden mounts are made locally from sustainable wood. And all paper products are produced using recycled stock, and printed locally using soya based inks."
