TEXTILE artist Jill Denton's new exhibition at the Landmark, An Unkindness Of Ravens, is a colourful and exciting collection of textiles and mixed media.

There's an eclectic combination of exhibits, including felt, stitch, sculpture, art dolls, art birds, poetry and mosaic, much of it including recycled materials and found objects.

"I get a bit bored doing a lot of the same thing for a show so this exhibition has allowed me to indulge in my passion for all art and craft, just doing a little of what takes my fancy at the time, and hopefully it will interest and amuse the viewer," said Jill.

"Since I moved to Ilfracombe the things that have enchanted me most about the area are the birds and the beautiful countryside, and this exhibition is a celebration of both."
