Show-off colourful dresser Kevin would like to meet lovely bird to share his life
WITH Valentine's Day looming, people across North Devon will be preparing a romantic day for their other halves.
But one lonely suitor is missing out on the romance – in fact, he's in desperate need of a bird.
Kevin, who resides at the Trimstone Manor Hotel near Ilfracombe, could be North Devon's loneliest peacock.
Despite having a home with 44 acres to play in and plenty of company from ducks, chickens, geese and turkeys, three-year-old Kevin is missing a peahen to share his life with.

Philip Milton, owner of Trimstone Manor, acquired Kevin six months ago and said initially he had been very happy at the country hotel.
But recently Kevin has been showing signs of loneliness.
He said: "He's been displaying his feathers to himself whenever he catches a glimpse of his reflection in the window.
"He is obviously missing having a female companion to show them off to.
"He wasn't like this when we first got him, I think it must be the thought of spring in the air and Valentine's day just around the corner.
"He's got plenty of other bird friends here but sometimes being friends just isn't enough."
Philip believes the only way to improve Kevin's mood is to find an equally lonely peahen to keep him company.
Philip said Kevin, who was named after a character from the animated film 'Up', has plenty of good qualities which would make him a worthy suitor.
He said: "He's very handsome with beautiful feathers.
"He also has a great character and is extremely faithful.
"We'd love to locate a peahen to keep him company and it would be amazing if it coincided with Valentine's Day."
Anyone who can help find Kevin a partner is asked to call Trimstone Manor on 01271 862841 or email email@example.com.
