Fire crews tackle chimney fire at Ilfracombe property
Fire crews were called to a chimney fire at a property in Ilfracombe this evening.
Initial reports suggested a building fire in the area of the town’s War Memorial, but upon arrival at around 6.30pm crews confirmed a chimney fire in Wilder Road.

Two engines from the town attended and firefighters used chimney gear to tackle the fire in the flue.
