“About four years ago,it wasn't too bad, but now, nightmare.
You can see that all is not well cos some comments and even ads are entered two or three times because people are having to refresh their submissions.
Horrible horrible site. Same front page comments from months ago.”

“Let's not forget that the North Devon Journal is part of the off-shore based Northcliff Media Group, ie Daily Mail. That said, agree with other commentators that the current website is hopeless. Unfortunately the newspaper itself is a far cry from how it once was; too much like its Daily Mail cousin, and in part I guess why circulation is falling!”

“Hi all,
The 'letters to editor' section is now back on the website.
Letters which appear each week in the North Devon Journal will appear on the website on the day the paper is published (Thursday).
To view the letters, click on 'News', then on the dropdown box click on the 'letters' sub-heading.
Alternatively, here is a direct link to the letters section: http://tinyurl.com/7jfmjdl
You can comment on any of the letters by writing in the box provided underneath the text. You can give letters a recommendation by clicking the 'thumbs up' button underneath the text.
You can write a letter to the editor by clicking on 'write an article' on the homepage (found in a box on the right-hand side). Then enter your text, give your letter a headline and be sure to select category 'news' and then a sub-category of 'letter to the editor'.
To comment or upload content to the website you will need to register.
You can do this by clicking 'register' at the top of the homepage and then supplying a username that is under 13 characters long.”

“It's the same across the country with this particular publisher. Rubbish website and no replies to any complaints.
On another site I've complained 4 times. No response.”
