For those who enjoy rural life
FROM fishing, shooting and traditional crafts, right through to delicious locally produced food, the West Country Game and Equine Festival has plenty to offer those who enjoy rural life.
The show includes an on-site clay shoot, shooting opportunities with various organisations, gundog scurries, terrier and lurcher shows, fly-casting demonstrations, archery, falconry, racing ferrets, vintage tractors and cookery demonstrations in the Game Cookery Theatre.
This year, not only will there be the addition of an equestrian arena featuring top named riders and stallion parades but the show will also include Smallholders South West (supported by Somerset Smallholders) featuring lectures, alpacas, pigs, sheep, local produce and more. Have-a-go activities, including Xtreme Off-Road 4 x 4. The show also hosts a countryside shopping village with more than 250 countryside and equestrian companies.
