“I've been to the Wildlife and Dinosaur Park twice, both times with grandchildren from different sides of the family. Given the price of petrol there is going to be a catastrophic drop in the number of people visiting Devon this year so attractions will have to provide very good value for money. If they don't, families will not return ever again and they will not recommend places that do not come up to scratch. The wildlife park has some coin in the slot amusements which are very poor value. My son-in-law, who is not hard up by any means, felt that the radio controlled cars were an absolute rip off. 50p lasted just a minute or so. It was that alone that made him feel that he wouldn't return with his two kids. I felt embarrassed at the poor value because it was my suggestion we went there. Sometimes i think theme park owners live on another planet and do not realise the financial pressures on families. People will not just keep coming and coming. One day it will all stop and once again it is cheaper to go abroad where the weather is more reliable and facilities are better. I don't know why any catering outfit has to charge a pound or more for a cup of tea. A teabag costs, wholesale, costs about 0.02p, and it doesn't cost 98.08p to prepare it, including labour and other materials. It should not cost any more than 30p. The same for burgers. This is junk food at gourmet prices. The theme park that charges 30p for tea and coffee and £1 for a burger and chips will be packed all year round. The gooses that laid golden eggs may not be coming this year if the attractions drive them away with high prices.”

“Need a bus prices are a bit steep to get in, I understand they need to feed the animals and there's all the upkeep but by reducing the price a bit I think could encourage more trade. For a familly of 5, kids 18 16 and 10 its too much for me to go.Sorry”
