STORIES, songs and shenanigans can be expected when Richard Digance returns to the region.

The troubadour will be regaling the audience with stories collected through a career that spans some 40 years beginning as a BBC comedy writer to his more recent appearances in Countdown's Dictionary Corner.

Having first emerged on the entertainment scene in the 1970s along with fellow folk entertainers Billy Connolly and Jasper Carrot, Digance is now an award winning entertainer. His writing skills have resulted in numerous books, plays and film scripts, while his comic abilities have seen him support Steve Martin in the USA and Robin Williams at the London Palladium.
