Four local men have been arrested in connection with the discovery of £60,000 worth of cannabis at an industrial unit at Mullacott Cross.

On October 2, an emergency search warrant was executed after a local police community support officer alerted police to the possibility of cannabis in the area.

He said: “This was a very significant seizure of drugs and a great bit of work by local officers that I believe reflects our commitment to tackling those involved in the supply of illegal drugs locally.

“Not only will those involved have already suffered significant financial loss with the seizure of plants and equipment, but we will be conducting rigorous investigations of the financial affairs of the businesses involved to seize further assets that we believe are linked to criminality.”

The four men have been bailed whilst enquiries are on-going.

Anyone with information about this matter should contact Devon and Cornwall Police on 101.
