MAY we, the staff at the crematorium in Barnstaple appeal through your letters section, for the well intentioned but misguided person to return our beloved moggy Felix to the crematorium where he has lived the last 15 years and I'm sure would prefer to see out his last days.

Despite not looking the healthiest of felines, he is nonetheless extremely well fed and cared for every day of the week. We have good reason to believe he was removed from the premises on the weekend June 19/20 by a concerned animal lover. He has a few underlying health problems but has been given the all clear by Diana Lewis.

He is very much missed by the staff (and mourners) and we would appreciate his safe return "with no questions asked".
