Dowsing used to test people's allergies

AN alternative healer from Mortehoe says she could provide the answers to people's unknown allergies, through dowsing techniques.

Wynne Gaisford, of Mortehoe, specialises in finding out exactly what people are allergic to by using a dowsing pendulum.

Wynne explained that she uses the pendulum to "ask the spirits questions", something she learned to do when she became extremely ill through multiple allergies.

She said: "I really was terribly ill, and found out I was a multiple allergic, meaning I am allergic to a number of things and all of the foods I was eating were poisoning me — I used dowsing to find out how to help myself.

"I became interested in dowsing naturally, and just got into using it. I think I was always like it, it happens, it's just about being aware of being in touch with the spirits.

"It's like being a channel, I'm just a channel the spirits use, they come through me."

The way Wynne works is to carry out a series of allergy tests to determine exactly what it is people are allergic to, by asking the spirits.

She said: "A lot of the time people have an idea of what they're allergic to, but not exactly, by going through a long list you can really pinpoint what to avoid, it's about tracking down hidden allergies.

"People are aware of the usual things like cats, dairy and wheat allergies, but a lot of people are allergic to things like oranges without even knowing."

One of Wynne's regulars, Diana Sprague, said: "Wynne has helped me enormously, with everything, nutritionally and spiritually, she has a real gift and she always gives me the right guidance.

Wynne's fee is a one-off £35, as she explained: "My fee includes ongoing dietary advice as necessary until both my client and I are satisfied that all has been done to improve their health — consultations can also be conducted by post or over the phone."
