Garden centre role for Peter

A HORTICULTURAL expert from Eggesford has been appointed as south west regional manager for the Garden Centre Group.

Peter Burks, 50, will retain his role as general manager at Sanders Garden World in Somerset while also overseeing the running of five other garden centres in the region.

Peter (pictured above), who has a degree in horticulture from the University of Bath, said: "I look forward to working with the other garden centres in the area and want to improve the plant offer and general customer experience on-site."
