● Something spooky's going on at Bicclescombe Park this half term – a fancy dress treasure hunt for all the family. Ilfracombe's award-winning park hosts the annual Hallowe'en Treasure Hunt on Sunday (November 2) from 11am to 3pm. Everyone is encouraged to go along in fancy dress and prizes will be awarded for the best costumes. There will be a variety of fun games throughout the day and hot and cold food and drinks to buy in the Tea Rooms. Councillor Dave Butt, lead member for youth and diversity, said: "The treasure hunt at Bicclescombe Park is always popular and a great way to keep the kids occupied during half term. It's also free, so an excellent day out for all the family to enjoy." Bicclescombe Park also hosts art and craft activities with a Hallowe'en theme today (Thursday October 30) and tomorrow (October 31) between 11am and 2pm. The craft activities are free and aimed at children aged eight to 14 years, although children under eight can also attend if accompanied by an adult.
