Herdsmen Jozef and Tomas with one of Jedward's apparent new legion of fans; left, the twins after another X Factor performance
Despite being written off as "not very good" by Prime Minister Gordon Brown and regularly booed on stage, it seems the X Factor duo can rely on one firm set of fans.
Listening to the Irish twins, whose musical ability is the subject of fierce online and TV debate, actually seems to increase the milk yield of the dairy cows at the farm in Beaminster, Dorset.
Herdsmen Jozef and Tomas said John and Edward's interpretations of classic rock anthems went down well in the milking parlour.
"We always have music playing in the yard and you can hear it in all the feeding areas, barns and milking parlour," said Jozef.
"We were told that classical music is likely to produce a higher milk yield, but we haven't noticed much difference.
"However, when a clip of Jedward singing the Queen anthem We will Rock You, from the X Factor last Saturday night, was played on a news bulletin, the cows really seemed to enjoy it."
Tomas agreed: "When our cows are happy cows then so are we. So we're going to vote for Jedward from now on for the sake of our herd."
He has downloaded the X Factor charity single performed by all the finalists and is playing it to the herd through an iPod in the dairy.
Mike Pullin from the Ashley Chase Estate, a local cheese maker who is on the receiving end of this particular herd's milk, is backing Jozef and Tomas with their gamble, though he has his reservations.
"Personally, I would have thought the sound would have made the milk curdle, but as far as we can tell the supply has been as good as it has ever been," he said.
