Vehicles damaged in Chapelton barn fire

A barn containing vehicles caught fire near Umberleigh in the early hours of this morning.

The fire, at Fishleigh Barton, Chapelton, happened just before 1am. It is believed to have been started accidentally.

The incident involved two vehicles within a barn which were damaged by fire.

Fire fighters from Barnstaple and Torrington attended and they wore breathing apparatus and used a hose reel to put out the blaze.

The barn was also left slightly damaged.
