Co-op set for second foodbank collection
THE Co-operative in Bideford is gearing up to host a second food collection day for the Bideford Foodbank next week.
The food store on Mill Street hosted its first collection day last month and after the success, the Co-operative has organised several more dates over the coming months.
The first collection day will be on Tuesday between 10am and 4pm.
The foodbank opened last year and is a charitable organisation which gives food to those in need who have been sign posted to the facility by agencies such as the NHS or social services.

The foodbank is also looking for additional volunteers to help at food collection days and to take on weighing and sorting at the warehouse.
