“Visitors to this year's Festival totalled in excess of 800 and were wowed by the beautifully decorated Trees exhibited by local groups and organisations. This event began in 2010, but this year we had a record number of exhibits with 42 Trees. In addition, Santa was waiting in his grotto in the church hall to welcome the young and the young at heart and listen to their Christmas wishes.
This event is organised by St. Peter's Fremington and Fremington & District Community Group. The total monies raised is not yet known, but it will reach £1000 and be shared between St. Peter's Church and Fremington School PTFA.
Our thanks go to everyone who helped and supported the 2012 Christmas Tree Festival in any way.”
